Michael Jordan’s Son Jeffrey Jordan Arrested in Arizona; Has He Been Arrested Before?

Jeffrey Jordan, the son of NBA legend Michael Jordan, was arrested in Arizona on Friday morning. He was charged with driving under the influence and possession of marijuana. Jeffrey Jordan has been arrested before; he had a previous DUI arrest in 1999.

Jeffrey Jordan, the son of NBA legend Michael Jordan, was arrested in Arizona early Monday morning on suspicion of driving under the influence. Jeffrey has been arrested before.

Michael Jordan is one of the most well-known NBA players in history. The MVP Hall of Famer is also the face of Air Jordan clothing, having won six championships with the Chicago Bulls. Despite the fact that his work life is well-known, the basketball star likes to keep his personal life private.

With ex-wife Juanita Vanoy Jordan, the Nike spokesman has three children ranging in age from 29 to 32 years. Jordan married Yvette Prieto in 2013 after they divorced in 2006. The NBA legend and his new wife welcomed identical twin daughters the following year, who are now 7 years old.

With five children, he has his hands full, particularly since his oldest son, Jeffrey Jordan, was recently jailed in Scottsdale, Arizona.

After an altercation in a pub in Scottsdale, Arizona, the 32-year-old found himself on the wrong side of the law.

Jeffrey Jordan slipped and struck the back of his head on a table at Casa Amigos about 1 a.m. on September 26, 2021. He was taken to the hospital for medical care, according to Fox News.

He got belligerent in the hospital and was charged with aggravated assault on a health care worker.

Jordan was kept under the supervision of a doctor until the early afternoon before being transported to Scottsdale City Jail, according to AZ Central.

Jordan was released within an hour after no formal charges were filed. The Maricopa County Attorney’s Office is investigating the matter.

The legacy lives on.

Michael Jordan’s eldest son never played professional basketball, although he did play collegiate basketball from 2007 to 2012 at the University of Illinois and the University of Central Florida.

According to Forbes, Jeffrey Jordan works at Nike, where he is in charge of the Jordan Brand’s digital innovation. Jordan Avakian Group (JAG), an investment and consultancy company that deals with sports and entertainment start-ups, was also founded by him. He now resides in Portland, Oregon.

Jeffrey co-founded Heir Jordan with his siblings Marcus and Jasmine. The joint venture’s investing and charitable emphasis is on co-creating their own legacy.

Michael Jordan’s other kid has been arrested before.

Jeffrey Jordan looked “confused and disoriented after the fall,” according to TMZ. He was reportedly “aggressive with security officers who were trying to take him out of the pub for medical treatment.” He has no prior charges, so it’s unclear whether his injuries were linked to his unpredictable conduct.

Marcus Jordan, his younger brother, has, however, experienced the inside of a prison cell. He also attended the University of Central Florida, where he was a 6-foot-3, 205-pound basketballer.

The Jordan brothers got into problems in Las Vegas, according to the Orlando Sentinel in 2010. Marcus, a 20-year-old sophomore in college, had a wild night of drinking, according to reports. On his Twitter account, he bragged of billing more than $50,000 in booze to their Aria Hotel & Casino suite. Despite the fact that the brothers were never prosecuted, the hotel was investigated for permitting underage drinking.

Marcus got in trouble again in 2012, but this time he was sentenced to prison. He was detained after a “drunken fight outside a motel in Omaha, Nebraska,” according to Reuters. The 21-year-old was “extremely animated, inebriated, and uncooperative,” according to police. When police came, he was allegedly fighting with two ladies in the hotel driveway.

“After a short fight, several officers were required to subdue and arrest the subject,” they added. “Disorderly behavior, resisting arrest, and obstructing justice” were filed against the former UCF guard. He was taken into custody and subsequently released.
